Amidst the tears on this Thanksgiving Day, I stop to give thanks and praise to God for: His love and forgiveness of all sin and guilt through Jesus Christ, the loving and caring parents that He blessed me and my siblings with, the many years that He allowed us to spend with our sweet Mom after our wonderful Dad died in 1999, the blessings of my sweet sisters and two brothers, my special, kind, and caring daughter, my dear son, the loving and encouraging friends — in the “real world” and online — that He has blessed me with, those of you who have encouraged me and have take time out of your busy days to read my blog from time to time, His comfort and grace to bring me and my family through these past seven months, and for the miraculous way that He brought the buyers to purchase the home of our parents after the original buyers backed out of the contract literally at the very last minute.

No matter what life deals us, He is *always* worthy of our praise! Come to Him through Jesus Christ, receive all that Jesus did for you through His once for all sacrifice on the cross in our place for our sins — His death, burial, and glorious resurrection from the dead — as your only means of being forgiven of your sins and guilt and being accepted by a completely holy God. Lay your sorrows, regrets, burdens, and guilt at the foot of the cross, believe this good news of the Biblical gospel and you will receive His complete forgiveness, His peace that surpasses all human understanding, and meaning and purpose for your life. Read His Word, the Bible, to learn more about His love and truth. Start with the Gospel of John and Romans and allow His Holy Spirit to reveal His truth to you.

“Come to Me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me. For I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)

Thank you for stopping by today and taking time to read what God put on my heart to share with you today. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration with your loved ones, and treasure the time that you have with them, for tomorrow is promised to no one.

God Bless You
