INTRODUCTION

Sadly, we live at a time when many of us are like sheep without a shepherd. Many once trusted pastors and teachers have forgotten their God-given role of protecting their sheep from ravenous wolves and have instead chosen to willingly join with them wholeheartedly. Therefore, many precious Christians are prey for the enemy as they attempt to seek a new church where God’s Word is being preached without compromise, and some end up getting involved with another church where yet another form of compromise or spiritual deception is taking place, which is what has happened to me many times now. With that in mind I will rarely be sharing any sermons from any pastors with you here, because the more I find out about them, the more I realize that the only one we can completely trust is Jesus Christ. So, for the time being, I will just be sharing videos like the one below that just have the audio of God’s Word accompanied with pictures highlighting some of the main verses from each particular book of the Bible.

When time allows, I hope that you will take six minutes out of your day to listen to the Book of 2 Thessalonians and allow God’s Word to comfort you, to free you from worry, doubt, and fear, exhort and convict you of sin, and to guide you into all truth.

For those of you who have yet to come to understand all that Jesus Christ accomplished for us when He  willingly entered our sin-filled world wrapped in human flesh as an innocent baby, to one day become our Savior, I pray you will come to understand and believe and receive the good news of the Biblical gospel:

Still being God, the second Person of the Trinity, Jesus Christ came into our world to rescue us from sin and hell; He grew and lived the perfect, sinless life that we could never live, to become the spotless, Lamb of God who would take away the sins of the world. He willingly hung on a cross and suffered the extremely brutal death of crucifixion in our place.  God the Father, poured our His full wrath that we deserve for our sins upon His one and only Son — Jesus Christ, God in the flesh — who paid the debt in full for every one of our sins, no matter how heinous the sin may be! He died, was buried, and gloriously arose from the dead bodily on the third day for our justification. Salvation is a free gift; we are not saved by good works or by obeying the law, or Jesus Christ died in vain! (Galatians 2:21) If a person chooses to place their trust in the only provision that God has made for us to be forgiven and to be reconciled to Himself, (which is by trusting in Jesus Christ alone for our salvation), according to God’s very Word we will then have the assurance of eternal life with Him in heaven. (1 John 5:9-13) That, dear reader, is the good news of the Biblical gospel that is not being heard in many churches today! Please get yourself a Bible (preferably a King James version because many verses in newer translations have been either omitted or drastically changed in such a way that changes the meaning of the verses), and read the Gospel of John, the Books of Romans, Ephesians, Hebrews, and 1,2, and 3 John to begin with, so that you might come to know the joyously good news of all that Jesus Christ accomplished for us, and the depth of the love that God has for you. (Ephesians 3:17-19) (1 John 4:9,10)

Thank you very much for stopping by today.

God Bless You

UPDATE:

Lord willing, if all continues to go well, after two months of my sister being in the hospital she is scheduled to finally be released this coming Tuesday, after just having two weeks of therapy! Praise the Lord! \0/ She is a living miracle in that she survived all that she went through when it was discovered that her appendix had burst which caused many other serious, life threatening problems. The doctors weren’t sure that she was going to make it, so I praise God that He was gracious to bring healing to her. Losing our sweet Mom last year on Easter/Resurrection Sunday was devastating to all of us, and I just could not imagine the depth of our grief and sorrow if we would have lost our sister too!

Please treasure every moment that you have with your loved ones so that you will not have any regrets when the day comes and you will no longer have them in your life. The emptiness and void that one feels after losing a very special person, is a sorrow that truly grips your heart and fills your eyes with tears, daily. Even though I still have the joy of the Lord which can never be taken away from me, there is still a deep sorrow in my heart because my sweet Mom was the type of person that one can never forget. She was more than just my mother; she was also my friend.

I would have joy that would truly lessen the sorrow if I knew for sure that she chose to place her trust in Jesus Christ alone for her salvation instead of trusting in her good works or in the Catholic church to save her before she took her final breath, but I just have to rest in the Lord and in the fact that ‘He is not willing that any should perish but that all would come to repentance.’ My precious Mom heard me share the gospel with her countless numbers of times when she would ask me questions about God, salvation, death, and different things concerning the Catholic church, and I tried so hard to explain the gospel to her, simply and in depth so that she would realize the importance of the decision that we all need to make before our life comes to an end. However, I need to give by burden to the Lord and spend the time I have remaining on this earth “earnestly contending for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints” (Jude 3) by getting back to sharing the truth with those of you who need to hear it, whether you listen or fail to listen. I am already in the process of writing some posts and hope to have one finished for you in the near future –Lord willing.

Thank you again for stopping by.

God Bless You

Today I would just like to present you with the entire Book of Micah to listen to when time allows. I also wanted to highlight some verses from this Book for you to focus on:

Micah Chapter 4

But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the Lord of hosts hath spoken it. For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the Lord our God for ever and ever.”

Micah Chapter 5

“But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” (Micah 5:2)

Micah Chapter 7

Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.” (Micah 7:18-20)

RELATED SCRIPTURES

“The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.” (Genesis 49:10)

“And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.” (Isaiah 11:1-12)

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.” (Isaiah 9:6,7) “(Jeremiah 23:5)

UPDATE

My sister is still in the hospital fighting an infection. Her blood pressure continues to fluctuate and her white blood cell count is still rather high. Tomorrow they will be giving her an x-ray and an injection of dye to find the source of the infection. I will not be getting back to writing until she is released from the hospital. Your continued prayers for the Lord to heal her would truly be appreciated.♥

Welcome to another Scripture Sunday post. I pray that you will take some time to listen to this dramatized audio of this very important Book of the Bible, 2 Peter, as you go about your day at home, whether you are preparing or eating your meals, cleaning the room where you keep your computer, or before you turn in for the night.

God’s Word brings encouragement, guidance, correction, and comfort. But most of all, God’s Word reveals who He is to us, makes us realize our sinfulness in light of His complete holiness, and exposes false doctrines that hold us captive to lies and prevents us from seeing the truth about who Jesus Christ truly is and all that He accomplished for us through His sinless life, His once for all sacrifice on the cross which led to His death, His burial, and His glorious resurrection from the dead.

If you do not yet have the assurance of salvation because you are still trying to earn God’s forgiveness instead of simply placing your trust in Jesus Christ alone for your salvation, I pray that you would get yourself a Bible and begin to read it. I pray that you will come to the knowledge of the truth by the power of the Holy Spirit and choose to truly believe what it says and choose to fully place your trust in the good news of the Biblical gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-6), thus receiving Jesus Christ and all that He accomplished for you.

God’s Word tells us that the demons believe in God –and tremble (James 2:19). They also know who Jesus Christ is (Mark 1:24, Luke 4:34, Acts 19:15), and yet they will one day be cast into hell (Matthew 25:41). True belief acts upon it by simple faith. If you choose to truly believe what God’s Word says concerning Jesus Christ being God in human flesh, who came to this earth and lived a perfect, sinless life in order to become the spotless Lamb of God who paid the debt of your sin — and mine — in full, once for all, you will then be justified by His grace and clothed in the righteousness of Jesus Christ (Titus 3:4-7). Your sins will then be as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12), never to be remembered again (Isaiah 43:25). What joy you will then have if you choose to fully place your trust in Jesus Christ alone for your salvation!

The traditions of men add to the Word of God, thus nullifying it, (Mark 7:6-13) and lead many into confusion which hinders them from seeing all that Jesus Christ accomplished for them. Once someone who has been deceived has their eyes opened to the truth that can be found in God’s Word by the Spirit of God, they have the choice to continue clinging to the “Traditions” of men that offer no true hope for salvation, or to reject all that they once believed to be true, and instead choose to wholeheartedly believe the good news of the Biblical gospel.

True forgiveness, joy, assurance, peace, and hope come through Jesus Christ alone. As a former Catholic I speak from experience. Don’t make the mistake of believing that there is a second chance after death; there is no place called “Purgatory” where you go to be purged for “temporal punishment due for sin” as the Catholic church teaches. (CCC Para 1472, 1473 – More on “purgatory” in light of Scripture at some point, Lord willing). God’s Word is very clear in Hebrews 1:3 about what Jesus Christ accomplished for us: “Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.” Jesus Christ sat down, clearly showing that His work of redemption had been completely accomplished.

Thank you very much for stopping by today.

UPDATE:

Last series of Estate Sales ended yesterday, and the closing date for our Mom and Dad’s home is October 16th. When time allows, I will be helping my family clear the house for the next couple of weeks before I can get back to writing again.

PRAISE REPORT:

This past week I received news from the woman that I previously babysat for that she would like me to once again care for her little girl, so, praise the Lord, \0/ it appears that I now have a job which will mean that I won’t have to start looking for one after the closing date! Lord willing, I should then also have some time to begin writing again! Thank you very much to those of you who may have been praying for me! ♥

UPDATE:

Due to complications with the company that bought my parent’s home, the closing date has been changed to the middle of October. Therefore, it will be a little longer before I am able to get back to writing some more in depth posts.

There are many who hold to different views concerning the timing of the coming of the Lord and His wrath being poured out upon the earth. We are to be diligent and study God’s Word for ourselves and allow the Holy Spirit of God to teach us what God’s Word says. There are many Christians being led astray these days by some well respected teachers of God’s Word simply because they fail to test what is being said by these teachers against the truth of God’s Word to see if what is being said it true or not, as we are shown to do in Acts 17:11. Many are adding to the text what is clearly not there and therefore are leading a countless number of Christians to embrace what comes out of paganism and is completely rooted in the world of the occult. (An in depth post on that coming at some point –Lord willing).

Many seem to think that the Book of Revelation is too hard to understand because there are so many symbols in it and therefore they avoid reading and studying it. However, if one takes the time to really study it one will see that many of the symbols are identified. I certainly don’t claim to understand the entire book of Revelation, but I will simply say that I am one of many who is watching for the return of Jesus Christ, and not looking for the anti-Christ.

Sadly, many pastors and teachers today avoid teaching from it because it is considered by some to be”too controversial.” However, it is a book that comes with blessings as well as curses; blessings to those who read the words of this prophecy, who hear it, and who take to heart what is written in it (Revelation 1:3), and curses, which include the plagues described within this book, will come upon those who add to or take words away from this book of prophecy, and God will also take away their share in the tree of life and in the holy city, the New Jerusalem. (Revelation 22:18,19 See also Deuteronomy 4:2)

I pray that, when time allows, you will prayerfully read the Book of Revelation or listen to God’s Word in the video below and allow His Holy Spirit to reveal His truth to you so that you will not be led astray by those who present some faulty interpretations of the Book of Revelation based on a mythological, New Age world view instead of from a Biblical perspective in which we simply allow Scripture to interpret Scripture.

Thank you very much for stopping by and taking time out of your busy day to read some of my posts and poems.

God Bless You

~Mary/Living4HisGlory (See update further below).

“And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heavens departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath has come; and who shall be able to stand?” (Revelation 6:13-17)

“And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.” (Revelation 16:1,2)

UPDATE:

The home of my precious Mom and wonderful Dad was sold on Thursday. The closing date is set for October 2nd. My family and I will have a lot to do this month in order to make sure that we have everything out that needs to be removed before the closing date. Therefore, it will be at least another month before I am able to go back to writing in depth posts as I once did.

Welcome to another Scripture Sunday post. I pray that you will take some time to listen to this dramatized audio of the little, but extremely important Book of Jude as you go about your day at home, whether you are preparing or eating your meals, cleaning the room where you keep your computer, or before you turn in for the night.

PERSONAL NOTE: After sitting through the funeral service/Mass (and I did sit; I did not stand or participate in the Mass) for my precious mom at the Catholic church that she once attended, and after hearing what the priest had to say, I am even more grieved and more determined to earnestly  contend for the faith and to write in order for God to use me to reach precious Catholics with Biblical truth in my upcoming posts. (That is why I chose the Book of Jude for today’s Scripture Sunday). However, please allow me some more time in order to grieve her loss and to deal with some important matters that must be attended to before I am able to get back to trying to focus on writing once again.

Thank you very much for stopping by.

Due to the death of my precious mom on Easter/Resurrection Sunday, I will be taking some time off to attend to some important matters that need to be taken care of immediately. I also need some time because I cannot concentrate fully right now in order to properly write the next post in the apparition series. By the grace of God I will get back to writing as soon as these matters are taken care of, and as soon as I am able to fully focus on finishing writing Part 3 in the series, Apparitions of the Virgin Mary or Demons in Disguise – Examining the Evidence in Light of Scripture

Fulfillment of Zechariah 9:9

“Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: :”JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS. Many of the Jews read this sign, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the sign was written in Aramaic, Latin, and Greek. The chief priest of the Jews protested to Pilate, “Do not write ‘The King of the Jews,’ but that this man claimed to be king of the Jews.” Pilate answered, “What I have written, I have written.” (John 19:19-22)

Tetelestai – The debt was paid in full

“The man who saw it has given testimony, and his testimony is true. He knows that he tells the truth, and he testifies so that you also may believe. These things happened so that the Scripture would be fulfilled: “Not one of his bones will be broken.” and as another Scripture says, “They will look on the one they have pierced.” (John 19:35-37)
