Capture Eyes with tears 1Welcome to another post in the series of posts that I have entitled, Warning You With Tears Wednesdays. Lord willing, at least once a month on Wednesdays I will be writing and sharing one of these posts with you so that I can make you all aware of some important information that I come across on the Internet that you may not have heard about.

Since I knew that I would soon be starting a new part-time job (and I did start in June) and that my free time would then be somewhat limited, I was trying to think of something that I could write on a regular basis that would be short and to the point (at least that was my intention). And since I am a detective-at-heart and desire to make you all aware of the importance of testing things that pastors and teachers say (and do) in light of Scripture (Acts 17:11), the idea to do these posts — as well as the name — came to my mind in November of 2014, based on Acts 20:26-31:

“For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God. Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which He bought with His own blood. I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears.”

So with all of that in mind, here is what I’d like to share with you in today’s WARNING YOU WITH TEARS WEDNESDAY:

Facebook recently came up with not just one, but two interesting Suggested Posts for me. The most recent one caused me to cringe, because it is a devotional book that’s eerily similar to the very popular devotional, Jesus Calling, because, as you can see from the post below, the book was “written as if the Holy Spirit is speaking directly to you,” just as Jesus Calling was written in the same first person form, as well.

I wanted to learn more about Jennifer LeClaire, the author of this book, to see what else she was involved in, so I decided to do a little research. Pretty revealing, isn’t it. :/

The other Suggested Post was about the movie ‘Captive,’ which is based on the true story of Brian Nichols, who went on a shooting spree in 2005 and then held a woman, Ashley Smith, ‘captive.’ (You can read more details about the story HERE). During her time in captivity she said that she read from the book, Purpose Driven Life to Brian Nichols. I quick captured a shot from the video below and shuddered at the thought that this movie will obviously be causing a renewed interest in the book ‘Purpose Driven Life‘ which was written by Rick Warren, and may possibly lead many more unsuspecting Christians as well as non-Christians down a dangerous and unbiblical spiritual path. This movie also features the song Oceans, by Hillsong United, which adds  another major concern about this movie.

And while I’m on the subject of Rick Warren and shuddering, I just found out that he announced the name of his new upcoming book at the end of July. In his book entitled, ‘The Hope You Need‘ he will be attempting to analyze the Lord’s prayer. In THIS ARTICLE  by Christian Post reporter, Stoyan Zaimov, Rick Warren said the following:

“[The Lord’s prayer] gives us 10 pictures of God, it gives us 10 reasons for hope, it gives us 10 promises to build our lives on, and it gives us 10 steps for renewing our lives and growing.”

Speaking of steps, John Lanagan of My Word Like Fire, has written many in depth  posts concerning the alcoholic recovery program known as  Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) I realize that many feel that they have been helped by this program, but whether you are a Bible believing Christian — a true follower of Jesus Christ — or not, I urge you to take the time to read the following articles in which you will learn about the background of this program, as well as the principles on which it was built upon. (When time allows, please consider reading many of his other well written and very informative articles, as well).

Many years ago a Christian friend of mine frequently attended the A.A. meetings because her husband was an alcoholic. One day she invited me to go to the meetings with her because of some concerns that I had expressed to her about a loved one, so I decided to go. I found some of the things that they said quite disturbing, and I stand in agreement with John Lanagan concerning his findings. If either you or a loved one has a problem with alcohol,  please consider reading the following article for some helpful alternatives. Keep in mind though, that Jesus is the one who can truly set you free if you will only repent and surrender your life to Him.

If you have seen the video, Kundalini Warning by Andrew Strom, either on YouTube or on one of my previous posts, which documents how the teachings and practices of the New Age are entering the church (See video below under Related Videos), I wanted you to know that he is now in the process of making an additional documentary which will focus on Bill Johnson, Jesus Culture, and much more. Here’s a preview:

If you have decided that Ben Carson would make a great President like I originally thought, there are a couple of things that you need to be aware of before election day. You can read about them HERE and HERE. And, when time allows, make sure that you do your own research. Above all, please pray. Because no matter who is elected as President in November of 2016, our hope should never be in man, but in God alone. There will never be true peace in this world until the day the Prince of Peace returns.

I will end this post with a praise report that will bring glory and honor to God:

On August 27th 2015, Lighthouse Trails posted this  picture and information concerning the fire that was headed towards their ministry center:

Then on August 29th they posted this terrifying photo and update:

Capture Lighthouse Trails fire and request for prayerI was among the many who prayed for God to spare their ministry center. They have been so faithful to earnestly contend for the faith and to expose the many false teachings of so many pastors and teachers who claim to be Christians and yet have strayed from Biblical Christianity, as well as to constantly post warnings about the dangers of Contemplative Prayer, Spiritual Formation and how these practices are entering so many churches today and deceiving so many Christians. So many of us have been blessed by their ministry, and we all prayed for God to somehow spare their ministry center and to be glorified in the midst of all of this.

Although tragedy strikes even Christians who are found faithful, God chose to perform an amazing miracle! On September 13th, 2015 Lighthouse Trails posted this amazing picture and praise report! To God be all glory and honor!

Thank you for stopping by and taking time out of your busy day to read some of my posts and poems.

God Bless You
